On 20 September 2023, during the UN General Assembly High-Level Week, IGCN with other Indonesian delegations paid a courtesy visit to the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Indonesia to the United Nations (PTRI). IGCN brought together Indonesian participants of the UN Global Compact Leaders Summit as well as participants of other events during the week that IGCN organized.
They consisted of high-level executives from PT Samudera Indonesia Tbk, PT Freeport Indonesia, PT Global Advis Indonesia (INTERCOUNBIX), PT Rajawali Corpora, PT Pertamina International Shipping, as well as SDG innovation champions and innovators from PT PLN (Persero), PT Pertamina (Persero), and PT Kilang Pertamina Internasional who presented their innovations to PTRI during the visit.
PTRI representatives were Ambassador Hari Prabowo, the Deputy Permanent Representative as well as Febrian Irawati Mamesah, the Minister Counsellor and Saud Ringo, the Counsellor from the Sustainable Development and Partnership.
During the discussion, IGCN delivered some key takeaways from the sessions during the week of UNGA that IGCN and its participants were engaged in, and explored potential collaborations with PTRI in the future on some priority initiatives.
