Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), Indonesia Global compact Network IGCN, Ministry of National Development Planning (BAPPENAS) and Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) delivered a series of coaching clinics on the cross-cutting issues of SDG 16 with total participants around 750 participants in all of series. The topics in the series of capacity building covered:
- Way forward for ESG: Streamlining and Impact Reporting
- Creating a Safe, Fair, and Decent Work Environment: Sustainability Reporting and Impact Assessment for Human Rights
- Integrating SDG 16 Business Framework into Business Strategy
The series of coaching clinics was aimed to accelerate the implementation of ESG in Indonesia, emphasizing on ‘governance’ through the utilization of SDG 16 Business Framework: Inspiring Transformational Governance. The series of coaching clinics was part of our continued effort in raising awareness to the private sectors, to encourage businesses as well as to implement the SDG 16, while transitioning to a more sustainable and profitable business.
The participants from these sessions were expected to commit to implement the ESG that which the implementation and impact could be measured and later included in a series of IGCN ESG study reports.
