Target Gender Equality (TGE) Round 5 workshop reached the successful completion of Module 3: Actionable Policies and Practices for Gender Equality on Thursday, 24 October 2024. Held as part of our commitment to fostering inclusivity and empowerment, the workshop brought together 23 participants from 15 companies to discuss impactful policies and practices for gender equality.
A key highlight of the workshop was an inspiring session led by Mr. Abi Nisaka, Sustainability Senior Manager at PT Kalbe Farma Tbk. Mr. Abi Nisaka shared Kalbe’s journey, providing actionable insights and demonstrating how WEPs can be a transformative framework for companies aiming to empower women across all levels.
The interactive session also featured:
a. Engaging group discussions: Participants collaborated on identifying challenges and co-creating solutions to advance gender equality.
b. Practical takeaways: Actionable recommendations for incorporating WEPs into business practices.
c. Peer learning: A platform for sharing best practices and fostering mutual inspiration.
This workshop reaffirmed the importance of collective action in breaking down barriers and creating workplaces where everyone, regardless of gender, can thrive. By aligning with the WEPs framework, participating companies are taking concrete steps to enhance gender equality, not just as a moral imperative but as a business advantage.
We extend our gratitude to all the participants and to Mr. Abi Nisaka for his invaluable contributions to the session. Together, we are building a future defined by inclusivity, equity, and shared success. Stay tuned for more updates as we continue this journey to advance gender equality in the workplace.
