IGCN made another significant stride in promoting gender equality with the second module of the Target Gender Equality (TGE) Accelerator Program on 3 October 2024. This session focused on Performance Analysis, was designed to empower businesses to critically assess their gender equality performance using the WEPs (Women’s Empowerment Principles) Gender Gap Analysis Tool. The tool helps companies identify existing gender gaps within their operations and evaluate how they can address and close these disparities.
As part of the TGE Accelerator Program, this session encouraged businesses to reflect on their gender equality initiatives and provided practical guidance on how to improve diversity and inclusivity in the workplace. By leveraging data and insights from the Gender Gap Analysis Tool, participants were able to gain a clearer understanding of where improvements are needed and how to take meaningful action.
This is an ongoing effort to help companies integrate gender equality into their core practices, ensuring that workplaces are not only more inclusive but also more innovative and resilient. The TGE Accelerator Program continues to play a pivotal role in guiding businesses on their journey toward achieving the SDGs related to gender equality, building a future where everyone has equal opportunities to succeed.
