Digitalization for Good & ESG Reporting Standards – Bridging the Gap for a Sustainable Future organized by UN Global Compact Networks Finland, France, and Sweden on 23 September at Deloitte Headquarters, Rockefeller Center, New York.
This event explored the role of digitalization in advancing sustainable development and aligning with robust ESG reporting standards. A key highlight was the discussion on the Global Digital Compact, which promotes a human-centered digital future supporting the SDGs and universal human rights.
The first part focused on bridging the digital divide and enhancing data-driven decision-making for sustainability. The second part provided a comparative analysis of European and North American ESG standards, emphasizing alignment with the UN Global Compact’s Communication on Progress (CoP) tool.
