IGCN had the privilege to paid a courtesy call to the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia on 25 September 2024. The delegation was warmly welcomed by H.E. Winanto Adi, the Indonesian Consul General in New York.
The IGCN delegation included: Y.W. Junardy (President), Josephine Satyono (Executive Director), Andi P. Rahim (Secretary General), and Evy Rosriani (Senior Manager – Programs). IGCN presented Lucia Karina, the Public Affairs, Communications, and Sustainability Director at Coca-Cola European Partners Indonesia, who was recognized as one of the UN Global Compact SDG Pioneers 2024.
The delegation expressed heartfelt gratitude to H.E. Winanto Adi for his warm hospitality during the audience, and also for his support of the event “Finding Equilibrium: Crafting Your Role & Career Pathway for Indonesia’s Economic Transformation”, an event organized by IGCN in collaboration with Koalisi Ekonomi Membumi and Columbia Indonesian Society which took place on Sunday, 22 September 2024 at the Consulate General Office and successfully brought 80+ Indonesian graduate students from various universities in the US, namely Columbia, NYU, Cornell, the University of Pennsylvania, MIT, Yale and LSE.
We had an interactive and insightful discussion focusing on enhancing efforts toward promoting economic development and the leadership role of youth in national development and in achieving the SDGs.
This visit marks a significant step in fostering collaboration and commitment to sustainable development initiatives, showcasing Indonesia’s dedication to contributing to global progress.
