On International Human Rights Day, Indonesia Global Compact Network (IGCN) partnered with PT Freeport Indonesia (PTFI) held a two-day Seminar of Gender Equality and Inclusivity in the Workplace. The event took place at the Multipurpose Building in Kuala Kencana on 12 December and at the Community Hall in Tembagapura on 13 December. There were more than 100 participants from various departments and women’s organizations in Timika.
Representing IGCN were Evy Rosriani, Senior Manager Programs as a facilitator, and assisted by Abigail Pramesi, a member of the Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs) Team as Co-facilitator. Their session received a positive response from the audience, fostering genuine discussion and enthusiasm. This initiative is a significant step towards creating a more positive work environment for everyone. IGCN truly appreciates PT Freeport Indonesia’s commitment to advancing the agenda of equality and inclusivity in the workplace.
