The world continues to face a range of interconnected emergencies—from the COVID-19 pandemic, to the climate crisis, to rising inequalities, humanitarian disasters and financial instability. Gender equality is both central to the challenge—with women and girls bearing the brunt of global crises—and an essential solution with the power to transform economies, countries, and communities to achieve sustainable development.
For this reason, UN Global Compact held TGE LIVE 2022 to convene leaders from business, government, civil society and academia to discuss and demonstrate how the private sector can help bring down barriers to gender equality by respecting and supporting the rights of women and girls
This year, IGCN invited 2 (two) Indonesian speakers to represent business in two sessions:
- Regional spotlight Asia: Ms. Veve Hitipeuw, CEO or President Director & Principal Consultant, Kiroyan Partners
- Transforming the workplace – doubling down on gender equality in times of crisis: Mr.Vidjongtius, President Director of PT Kalbe Farma Tbk.
