Input from IGCN stakeholders emphasizes the importance on how IGCN can assist companies in their effort to meet global UN-calibre standards and practices, tailoring value propositions based on different stages of ESG maturity, linking engagement with measurable outcomes, and addressing the disconnect between “pitch” and “delivery” to enhance member engagement and to deliver more values proposition to members. Based on these contexts, the key strategies and focus areas for IGCN were defined: Aligning the SDGs and Thematic Focus; strengthening engagement and strategic collaboration; implementing the engagement model “Go to Market”; delivering programs and special project initiatives; establishing IGCN Academy; and strengthening organization and impact management.  In 2024-2025, IGCN will maintain focus on 3 Thematic Focus: Better Living Environment, Resilient and Inclusive Business, and Governance, Partnership, and Policy Advocacy—with a range of activities and programs scheduled for the later part of 2024 until 2025, continuing from the existing initiatives to further promote sustainable development.
