Indonesia Global Compact Network (IGCN) believes that no one can solve global problems alone; hence, we need to develop a multistakeholder partnership relationship. Having a focus to support SDG number 17 (Improving global partnership for sustainable development), IGCN has a role as facilitator of various stakeholders across sectors, both the members (Business, Academia, NGO, Public Sector) as well as government and other organizations.

IGCN established partnerships with several stakeholders on various principles, among others, children, business and human rights, and water.

Under Children's Rights and Business Principles (CRBP) platform, IGCN cooporate with UNICEF and Save the Children in order to minimize unfavorable impacts against the children.

Addressing water issue, IGCN through Indonesia Water Mandate Working Group (IWMWG), UNESCO, Asia Pulp Paper (APP Group), Habitat for Humanity Indonesia (HfHI), and the Indonesian Institute of Sciences (LIPI) establish a program Pari Island of September 2016 to February 2017 to increase awareness and capacity in ensuring the sustainability of water in Pari Island, Kepulauan Seribu.

On business an human rights issue, IGCN, Oxfam in Indonesia (Oxfam), International NGOs Forum on Indonesian Development (INFID) are in collaboration to run EU funded program titled “Walking the Talk: Promoting Accountable Business through Advancement of United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs) Implementation in Indonesia.” This three years program aims at promoting an accountable business sector in Indonesia that adopts corporate responsibility to respect human rights, at building awareness and capacity of labour and farmer unions, CSOs, and the Indonesian business sector to advance UNGPs implementation in the agriculture/food industry, especially in the palm oil plantation sector.

In addition, IGCN is collaborating with Bina Nusantara University (Binus) in a community development internship program. Binus students give supports to IGCN communication department, including website development.
